  • Condition: Some rust on the metal parts and fading to the white plastic, but they both work perfectly. Up until a few months ago they were still in-use in my 1954 MCM home. Bought and installed when it was built. They wall mount below the side of the curtains where the cord is. They basically hold the cord tight to make it easier to open and close the curtains. They also have a spring inside that allows them to extend out a few inches in case something gets caught on them. This prevents them from popping out of the wall. Used for just under 70 years and still work perfectly! PLEASE SEE ALL 12 PHOTOS.
